Our natural digestive system imitates the organ structure to chimpanzees and gorillas. According to world records, the Silverback gorilla can lift 815 kilograms of dead weight. Yet, human can lift up to 410 kilograms. The most strongest animals on this planet are plant based.

Award wining athletes also plant based... Scott Jurek, an ultra-long-distance runner, runs 150 miles. Named "one of the greatest runners," he broke the world record for the Appalachian Trail (Scott Jurek, 2019). He is featured in the new popular movie: Game Changers.

The documentary, "Game Changers" was released on September 16, 2019 in Germany by director Louie Psihoyos. The documentary shows how a lot of athletes have improved their performance, longevity, and recovery periods. In one week, Game Changers became the highest selling documentary of all time on iTunes, and it is released on Netflix, reaching millions of viewers.

In the documentary, Wilks discuses the 'plant-based advantage': meat and other animal products produce inflammation in the body. On the other hand, plant based protein sources are anti-inflammatory and thus result in a quicker recovery time after workouts. Not to mention, that if the word ate plant based, the worldwide economy could save $1.6 trillion by 2050 through health and social savings ("A Doctor Reviews 'The Game Changers' As It Launches On Netflix", 2019).

The film also explores an interesting cultural aspect of meat defining masculinity, as previously discussed by the social scientist, Carol Adams, in her book The Sexual Politics of Meat (Adams, 2015). Currently only 37% of men are vegans; this may be due to the belief amongst many men, that it is only ‘safe’ to be grilling meat at a barbecue ("A Doctor Reviews 'The Game Changers' As It Launches On Netflix", 2019).

The documentary is also said to attack men where it hurts most. The expert, Dr. Aaron Spitz, measures overnight erection activity (frequency and size) of three college athletes. The athletes are given meals containing animal foods, and then subsequent day, a meal of plant-based proteins. The results showed an average increase in the circumference of 9% increase, and a 303% increase in frequency of overnight erections ("Netflix's The Game Changers", 2019).

In addition, the documentary discusses the anti-inflammatory act of a plant based diet. Demonstrated by the Williams sisters, who started to improve their diet because Venus Williams developed Sjogren’s syndrome, an autoimmune condition... after transitioning to a vegan diet she was able to play again (Kimberly, 2019).

Celebrity athletes, like Arnold Schwarzenegger also weighed in on becoming plant based. He is featured explaining how he was a big meat eater in his early days:

"I ate a lot of meat, I ate my 10-15 eggs a day and you know had my 250g of protein a day because I weighed 250 pounds...But as I got older and read up on it I recognized the fact you really don’t have to get your protein from meat or animals. So we started going more in the direction of a vegetarian diet. Now I love it much more than the meat."

As a result, the Terminator star achieved his life long lowest cholesterol levels of 69 ("Netflix's The Game Changers", 2019).
